Singing to the Savior

March 17-23

Scripture: “I will sing of the steadfast love of the Lord, forever.” Psalm 89:1

Devotional: Heavenly Father, we love you, and we adore you. Thank you for loving us and sustaining us! There’s something special about hearing a sweet melody, especially early in the morning. Often while driving with the windows down and just walking, you can hear birds chirping away and in harmony together. My friends, God created us to worship and praise Him! Though our voices may not compare to someone in our church choir, it is a blessing to be able to express our love for our Heavenly Father in honor of His goodness and mercy toward all of us!!!

Prayer: God, we thank you and glorify your Holy Name; for you are so worthy of our appreciation and adoration. As we begin this week, enable us to reflect and remember how great thou art! We ask for your presence to fill us afresh with songs of worship and praise to You, in the name of Jesus Christ we pray, Amen! 

Reflective Question: When was the last time, without prompting from the choir or radio, that you found yourself singing praises to our Heavenly Father?
