Prayer Our Superpower

by Rev. Nartarsha Davis on March 16, 2024

Prayer Our Superpower

Pray about everything. Philippians 4:5

Our lives are continually flowing, and being filled with circumstances that are oftentimes beyond our control. These things can make us feel as though we have no power to do anything. However, in 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18, we are reminded through Paul’s writings of our power. For prayer can change people, things, and situations. We can and should pray always, having an attitude and awareness of God, who is supreme over everything.

As women of purpose, we must always remember our superpower in prayer. Prayer should be like breathing. We do not have to think to breathe. Therefore, we should not have to think to pray. While riding in your car, have a little talk with Jesus. While waiting on the doctor’s report, tell God all about your problems. Since we have a relationship with Jesus Christ, let us always be joyful, humble, thankful, and prayerful.

Let us Pray: Father God, thank you for the power of prayer, and the gift of joy. Lord, you are sovereign, knowing everything. Therefore, we can trust wholeheartedly in you. Lord Jesus, please help us to continually stay in a close relationship with you, always praying and seeking your face. In Jesus’ name, amen.
