How God Sees Me
February 4-10
Scripture: “But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.” I Peter 2:9
Devotional: Life has a way of devaluing us because so much emphasis is put on those who have the power or influence; thus, many people are left to feel “less than” or not as important as others. However, it is truly a blessing to know that I am so valued by the Most High God! To know that I have been set apart, for His glory, to do what He has called me to do, is awesome! Why, because of His grace and His mercy toward me!
Prayer: Heavenly Father, we are so grateful and thankful for Your great love toward us; we worship you, we adore you, and we praise you for being our God; being our Rock and our Redeemer! Father, we cannot thank you enough for bringing us out of utter darkness, and utter chaos, and now through Jesus Christ, we can know and experience your glory, your grace, and your generosity while we are discovering that it is You that is keeping us and it is You who is sustaining us; thank you for loving us in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and our Savior, we pray, Amen!

This week’s devotion has really resonated with me. It makes me grateful and truly blessed to know that my Heavenly Father looks at me and regards me as Kingdom Royalty. He treats me as the Daughter of a King, because I am. And, I am treating me like the Daughter of a King. I love the Lord and thank you for this devotion.

As a black woman in America or anywhere in this world I know who I am as a child of God, therefore I am not intimidated by anyone. With prayer and my personal relationship with Jesus Christ, I am ready for the challenges of this life. I know He did not bring me this far to leave me. Though He slay me, yet will I trust the Lord because I am on His side.

I feel that I’m Royal because it is in his word to all of us that we are
(Royal priesthood I Pet 2:9) Plus to have the Lord speak it to me I feel so so Royal to have an awesome Father of all the people on earth knowing, all my short comings to call me Royal, also to give me favor and his best. JESUS
