Rain Down On Me

Rain Down On Me

April 28 - May 4

Sow righteousness for yourselves, reap the fruit of unfailing love, and break up your unplowed ground; for it is time to seek the LORD, until he comes and showers his righteousness on you. -Hosea 10:12

Devotional: If you have been in church for any length of time, you have probably heard the cliché, “When praises go up, blessings come down.”  All of us want God to shower us with His goodness and the things that we desire but are we in a position to receive what He has for us?  Friends, as we look forward to God blessing us, let’s make sure that we are blessing Him through our worship and through our praise as a result of our righteousness!

Prayer: Our Father in Heaven, Holy is thy name!  We thank you for being our example of what righteousness and love looks like through Jesus Christ our Lord.   We recognize that you are the source of our contentment; truly, God, you are my joy, and we thank you for blessing us with Your presence and your power, in the name of Jesus we pray, Amen!

Reflective Question:  Is it raining or storming in your life and how are you handling the precipitation?

Amen, to the rain and the storms!

I would answer whether or not it's raining or storming in my life? The answer is yes sometimes it's raining and storming in our life but the good thing is I've learned to trust God when it's good and when it's not good.
