Whatever We Do For HIM Will Last

Scripture: “Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.”– I Corinthians 15:58

Devotional: Sometimes the work that you do doesn’t always match the compensation that you may receive, however, as Christians, we are so thankful and grateful that God’s grace and His mercy far excels what we can ever do; for our salvation is not based on works but on God’s amazing grace.  As a result of our being saved though, we have a charge to fulfill in serving God through Jesus Christ and we must always remember that there is no sacrifice nor struggle that goes unnoticed by an all-knowing and all-seeing God!

Prayer: Father, thank You for the opportunity afforded to us as Your children to worship You and to praise You!  Oftentimes we do fall short of your expectations of us; for we ask that You will fill us with Your continuous guidance so that we may serve you with our whole hearts.  We thank You for Your great love toward us and all that You are doing for us, in the name of Jesus, Amen!

Reflection Questions:

  1. What are you doing for God that will last until you see Him face to face?
