Dear Church Family,
I am grateful that we are entering our new capital stewardship campaign – “Our Journey”. With the success of this capital stewardship campaign, our ministries will grow, our congregation and the community will be blessed, and God will be glorified.
Our Campaign’s prevailing theme is “Not Equal in Giving, But Equal in Sacrifice.” This theme challenges us to do the extraordinary, to give “over and above” sacrificially for the next three years. The theme reminds us that we can all have an equal part in the Lord’s work.
Our Journey provides all of us the opportunity to know in a fresh way the blessings which come through giving. Jesus said, “Give, and it shall be given unto you: good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over … ” (Luke 6:38)
I earnestly believe that we, the people of The Church Without Walls, are ready for the great challenge which this capital stewardship campaign offers. Let us each enter into this great effort prayerfully and enthusiastically.
Love,
OUR JOURNEY

The Prayer Principles of The Church Without Walls
PERSISTENCE IN PRAYER…
We practice the Power of Prayer,
The purpose of Prayer, and
The Privilege of Prayer.
History has recorded that:
The Power of Prayer has opened the Red Sea,
Closed the mouths of lions,
Quenched flames and set captives free.
The Purpose of Prayer is that:
God’s desires may be demonstrated on earth.
That when we pray God’s will shall be done.
The Privilege of Prayer:
Jesus says to ask and it shall be given,
Seek and we shall find, knock and
The door will be opened.
Remember when we pray,
Prayers go up to heaven in Worship,
Out in the world in work and
Down to Hell in warfare.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is Our Journey?
This is the title of our three-year capital stewardship campaign. The campaign was launched on August 4, 2019. The foundation of “Our Journey” capital stewardship campaign is centered on prayer and spiritual growth for our congregation. We encourage you to reflect on your journey and to share it with other members. It is a 3 year journey designed to increase ministry awareness and to raise funds to liquidate the existing mortgage on our facility.
What is the financial Goal?
The three year financial goal is $14,000,000.
How much should I pledge?
There is no simple answer or formula of how much to pledge. We encourage you to prayerfully seek God about your pledge amount and respond accordingly. The theme of Our Journey is “Not Equal in Giving but Equal in Sacrifice.” Everyone in our church family doesn’t have the ability to give the same amount. God wants all of us to make a genuine sacrifice for Him, which will be different for all of us. If my gift is not a sacrifice, then it doesn’t require any faith.
“I will not sacrifice to the Lord an offering that cost me nothing.” 2 Samuel 24:24
Can I make a pledge to the campaign after Commitment Sunday?
Yes. It is a three-year capital stewardship campaign. You can make a weekly, monthly, or annual pledge.
Is my commitment to Our Journey in addition to my tithes and offerings?
Yes. Your three year commitment to Our Journey is a sacrificial gift over and above your tithes and offering. Our Journey funds will be used to retire our mortgage debt. Funds that are currently used for mortgage will be used for spiritual growth, ministry expansion and fulfilling The Church Without Walls mission statement of bringing men and women who do not have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ in to fellowship with Him and into responsible church membership through : Equipping Believers, Enriching Persons, Evangelizing People, and Edifying Missions.
How can I make a pledge after Commitment Sunday?
Visit ourjourney.churchwithoutwalls.org and click on Make a Pledge to submit online or to print a pledge card. You can place the completed pledge card in the offertory tray during Sunday Worship or Bible Study.
How often should I pay on my pledge?
You are encouraged to make either a weekly, monthly or annual contribution.
Can I make a one-time cash gift up front?
Absolutely! We are encouraging every family in our congregation to make a commitment to Our Journey. Any pledge amount, no matter how big or small, is greatly appreciated. We need every family to participate so that we can reach our goal of $14,000,000.
Can I set up for recurring payments?
Yes. If you have an online giving account, you can set up a recurring gift using the fund Our Journey through your online account. If you do not have an online account or if you have any questions on setting up a recurring gift, please email Kristi Pierson at Kpierson@churchwithoutwalls.org or contact Kristi at 281-649-6800 ext. 1923.
