October is nationally recognized as Domestic Violence Awareness Month. The Church Without Walls and Mosaic Women’s Ministry would like to help promote awareness and prevention of domestic violence. October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month
Domestic violence occurs more than people know and knowing first had emotional abuse can tear down your self esteem and your belief that there is a God. However, today because I have come out on the other side because of God, this session is a step in the correct direction. Women and more often than before men as well, need to know they have options and may need a safe house where they (including their children, if they have them) can reside until they can leave safely.
