Scouting Ministry
Welcome
Our structure is set through national program criteria. We operate in age-level units called troops and packs. In Girl Scouts, we have Daisys (kindergarten and 1st grade), Brownies (2nd and 3rd grades), Juniors (4th and 5th grades), Cadettes (6th, 7th, and 8th grades), Seniors (9th and 10th grades), and Ambassadors (11th and 12th grades). In Boy Scouts, we have Cub Scouts (1st to 5th grades) and Boy Scouts (6th to 12th grades).
Our Girl Scout troops are under the jurisdiction of Girl Scout San Jacinto Council (GSSJC) located at 3110 Southwest Frwy (Hwy 59), Houston, TX 77098.
Our Boy Scout packs are under the jurisdiction of Sam Houston Area Council (SHAC) located at 2225 North Loop West, Houston, TX 77008
Both programs are led by 60+ adult volunteers who have embraced the purpose of our organizations. Adult to child ratios are strictly enforced!
What We Learn…
Our curriculum program is formatted by our jurisdiction organizations. Our volunteer leaders use field trips, workshops, and other outside resources and tools to enhance program implementation.
