Salvation

Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need. Hebrews 4:16 (NIV)

Heavenly Father,

Thank you for the blessed privilege to approach your throne of grace.  Thank you for the power of prayer and the confidence that you know all my needs even before I make my petition.  Your word promised, if I would ask, seek and knock, the door shall be opened.  Thank you for the assurance that when I ask in faith, I shall receive. Lord, give me a praying Spirit.  Help me to pray without ceasing; on all occasions with all kinds of prayer request. In those moments when I do not know what to pray, let your Holy Spirit intercede for me and take my groans to your throne.  Lord let your spirit abide in me richly so that I may pray effective and fervently. In the Name of Jesus I pray, Amen.

In Jesus name, Amen

Protection & Deliverance

Heavenly Father,

You said “when a man’s ways please you that you will make even their enemies to be at peace with them” (Prov. 16:7). I ask you to forgive me of the things that I have done that have not pleased you. Help me turn from my will to yours, as I commit afresh today to obey your voice. For then you will be an enemy unto my enemies (Ex. 23:22). For your glory Lord and not mine, deliver me (2 Sam. 22:18).

Please keep me as the apple of your eye (Ps. 17:8) by granting me the grace to love my enemies. I confess my need for your Holy Spirit to help me to do good to them that hate me, and to pray for them (Matt. 5:43-45). Father, please grant me the courage to fight against the one true source of all evil. For I wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Help me to be strong in you and in the power of your might as I take up the whole armor of God, and stand against the wiles of the devil. (Eph. 6:10-16).
I unite my faith with your word and proclaim that no weapon that is formed against me shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against me in judgment, I do condemn. This is my heritage as your servant, and my righteousness is of you (Isaiah 54:17).

You have given me power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means shall hurt me (Luke 10:19).

In the Name of Jesus I pray, Amen

But let all who take refuge in you be glad; let them ever sing for joy. Spread your protection over them, that those who love your name may rejoice in you. -Psalm 5:11
Mighty God,

You are my Lord and my God. Thank you for going with me and before me to fight the enemy on my behalf. How I bless your name for the protection and peace you provide. Thank you that your hand is ready and able to deliver me from the threat and the snares of the enemy. I thank you today for victory in Jesus Christ!
In the Name of Jesus I pray, Amen.

Scripture: Psalms 33:20;59:9,10

Children

Children are a heritage of the Lord: and the fruit of the womb is His reward.
Psalm 127:3

Dear Lord of All,
thank you for my children. I accept them and acknowledge them as a reward and an inheritance from you. Thank you for choosing me to be their parent. Please help me to parent them by your grace. As their mother, there is no greater joy than to know that my children are walking in your word. Help me to train them in your word; the way they should go so that they will not depart from your ways when they are older. Help me to set a good example by living out your word, your wisdom, faith, and love. As for me and my house, we will serve you Lord. In the Name of Jesus I pray, Amen.
Scripture: Joshua 24:15; James 1:5; Psalm 119:105

All Children

Dear God,

I lift up children all over this world to you. I pray God that all children would have your protection and your guidance over their lives. As parents and guardians we cannot be everywhere with them but you can. You are all knowing and ever present. I surrender them into your protective custody. I ask for your guidance. Please empower every parent and guardian knowledge to raise each child in the fear and admonition of the Lord. Help parents understand that you created all children in your image who you have created their child to be and daily direct them to be just that. As we love and cherish each child Lord, show them through their, teachers, guardians and family your great love! In the Name of Jesus I pray, Amen.

Physical & Emotional Healing

Father in Heaven,

Your will for me is to prosper and be in health (3 John1:2) for you said that my body is a temple for the Holy Spirit (1 Cor 6:19). I am redeemed, cleansed and sanctified by the blood of Jesus (Heb. 13:12) and I come before you now to present myself as a living sacrifice, even though I need healing.

Please forgive me for the times I have not hearkened to the voice of your Spirit and done what is right in your sight. I confess the times I did not obeyed your Holy Spirit when He said to rest, eat differently and anything else that may have hindered the well being of my health (Ex.15:26).

Look upon me Lord and perceive that I have faith to be healed (Acts 14:9, 10). Remove all sickness (Deut. 7:15) and make me whole. Take that which was meant for harm and turn it around for your glory.

I am asking you not only for the healing, but I seek after the testimony of healing. Use me to boldly proclaim to anyone who has lost hope, don’t know you or need proof, that there is a living God who still stretches forth His hand to heal in the name of Jesus (Acts 4:29-30). For you are the God who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that I ask or think, according to the power that works in me (Eph. 3:20) Therefore, by faith I choose to persevere through this affliction onto victory. I proclaim that, Christ was wounded for my transgressions, bruised for my iniquities and the chastisement of my peace was upon Him; and with His stripes I am healed (Isa. 53:5). My body is for the Lord and the Lord is for my body (I Cor. 6:13). In the name of Jesus, Amen.

Breast Cancer / Masectomy

Dear God,

My Creator, help me to keep a joyful heart because I know that it gives me the strength I need to keep from sorrow in my time of physical transformation, to keep on keeping on after my mastectomy. Thank you for your great and abounding love that keeps me from fear. I will stand upon your Word, dear God, and all of your promises for me. Therefore, I will not worry or fear, but yet, I will put my care into your hands, trusting in your healing and transforming power.

Thank you for Jesus, my High Priest, who is always touched with the feelings of my infirmities. I know that He intercedes for me before your throne, particularly when I am unable to make petitions on my own behalf. Knowing this brings me great comfort particularly as I travel this journey in my life.

When I pray, I am sensitized to the comfort of your Holy Spirit, the healing power of Jesus Christ, your abiding love and a wonderful PEACE that surpasses all understanding. I know that you are with me now, God, and that you will never leave me nor forsake me. This promise enables me to have the confidence to approach your throne and ask you for whatever I need and desire, such as a wholly healed body with the right proportions.
When I do, I know that you hear my prayers. Thank you God
.
From this time forward, I will be strong in you, Lord, and in the power of your might. I will trust in you because you know the plans for my life and you are the strength and source of my life. In Jesus name, Amen.

Scripture: Proverbs 17:22; Psalms 31:24; II Corinthians 1:20; Hebrews 7:25, 13:4

Menopause

Wait for the LORD; be strong and take heart and wait for the LORD. Psalm 27:14 (NIV)

Dear Lord of All,
Thank you for bringing me through every season of life. Thank you for never leaving me and never forsaking me. You have been my leaning post through it all. I know that even now through this season of my life you are there. So, hear my prayer O Lord; let my cry for help come to you. As I experience this natural change in my life, please give me what I need to endure it, manage it and have a sense of peace about it.

I ask you to calm my hot flashes, night sweats, headaches, skin flushing, sleeping problem and all of the symptoms that come with menopause. Give me greater wisdom O God, and understanding as I wait upon you. Lord help me to rely on your Holy Word and give me your peace, which surpasses all understanding. I cast my cares on you because I know you care for me.

Bless me with good health so that I will be able to serve you more effectively. Lord, help me to remember to rejoice, to pray continually and to give thanks in everything, for I know this too is your will for me. Help me to keep my mind stayed on you, as I experience this season of my life.

Father, I claim your joy to give me strength as I go through the process of menopause. Thank you for always being there for me. These things I pray in the Name of Jesus. Amen.

Scripture: Psalms 102:1-2; Proverbs 17:22; Hebrews 13:5; I Thessalonians 5:17-18

Family & Friends

Most Holy God,

You have given to us in Jesus Christ the supreme example of family and friend. You call us friends, sons and daughters because of the redemptive work of our Savior and Lord, Jesus Christ. Please bless my family. I pray that families and friends would live in peace and obedience to your word. Let there be no bitterness, wrath, or malice among them. God teach me how to be loving, compassionate and kind to those who are in my circle of family and friends. I ask that you build a hedge of protection and keep my family and friends safe. Help me to grow stronger in my relationship with my family and friends and grow stronger in relationship with you. In the Name of Jesus I pray, Amen.

Forgiveness (Others and self)

Dear Lord,

How difficult it is for me to forgive. Yet your word is true, if I desire forgiveness I must first forgive. Help me God to be kind, tender hearted and forgiving; even when I have difficulty forgiving myself and others. Let your great love for me abound during these times so that I am moved with compassion. Allow me to walk in the ministry of reconciliation and be willing to forgive from my heart. Amen

Forgiveness

For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. Matthew 6:14 (NIV)

Heavenly Father,
You are a God of forgiveness. You know my flaws and shortcomings and graciously extended love and forgiveness to me. May your healing balm wash me and grant me the freedom that forgiveness will bring. Please remove any anger, hate, resentment, or bitterness and replace them with your love. I give to you my offenders. By faith, I forgive the person who hurt me. Help me to understand that when I forgive I am not denying my right to be angry. I acknowledge by faith that I can look beyond surface behavior and see your grace. Thank you for the blessings that forgiveness brings to my life. In the Name of Jesus I pray, Amen.

Scripture: Psalm 32:1; Ephesians 1:6-7; Colossians 3:13; James 5:15

Encouragement

Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Ephesians 6:10 (NIV)

Dear God,

I am encouraged when I realize that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate me from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus my Lord. Thank you that no matter what I experience in this life you are with me and in knowing that, I remain encouraged to live out the many challenges I may face.
Thank you for empowering me to live above fear and keeping me from discouragement. I will stand still and wait for your salvation. I will not be afraid. You are the strength of my life and I will continue to find hope in you. Father, I receive great encouragement from you as I find complete strength in you. In the Name of Jesus I pray, Amen.

Spiritual Growth

But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and forever! Amen.   II Peter 3:18 (NIV)

Gracious Lord,

Help me to grow in grace and grow in knowledge of you. Your divine power has given me everything I need for life and godliness through my knowledge of you.  Thank you for the great and precious promises that allow me to participate in your divine nature and escape the corruption of this world.

Lord, I make every effort to add to my faith goodness; and to goodness, knowledge; and to knowledge, self-control; and to self-control, perseverance; and to perseverance, godliness; and to godliness, brotherly kindness, and love.  Lord, help me to walk in your spirit and not gratify the desires of my flesh.  Please shine your light on the areas of my life where I need to grow spiritually.  Grant me strength and grace to submit to the Spirit’s leading .  I am trusting in you and depending on  your Holy Spirit to produce in my life the fruit of love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.  I ask this all in the Name of Jesus.  Amen.

Most Holy God,

Thank you for my husband. Help me to obey your word and render to him respect affection, kindness, compassion and consideration. Give us both your wisdom and understanding. They will be life to our souls and provide grace in our marriage. We we face challenges, conflicts and disagreements, please extend to us your mercy and grant us your peace. Father God,

Thank you for the comforting presence of your Holy Spirit. I am not alone. I know that you will never leave me or forsake me. You are my Rock and my Redeemer. Thank you for lavishing me with love; your amazing love that drives all fear from my life. Even in the aftermath of my divorce, I seek comfort in knowing that all things will work together for my good. I love you and I know you have called me according to your purpose.

Lord, please deliver me from unhealthy emotions; anger, fear, loneliness and bitterness. Please heal me from the pain and hurt and separation of this divorce. May I grow closer to you during my journey to recovery. Thank you for giving me a future and a hope that rest in you. Father, I look to you for peace, comfort and your comforting presence. This I ask in Jesus name, Amen.

Single

Heavenly Father,

You said that an unmarried woman is to be concerned with the Lord’s affairs, with her aim to be devoted to the Lord in both body and spirit (1 Cor. 7:32-35). Yet you also said that it is not good that man dwells alone and that woman was created to be a help meet (Gen. 2:18).

Therefore, for this current season of my life, I ask you to grant me the grace to be content with being single. When loneliness comes, let no temptation over take me beyond what I am able to bear (1 Cor. 10:13). Help me to be committed to watch and pray, for my spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak (Matt. 26:41). Continually fill me with the power of the fruits of your Holy Spirit (Gal. 5:22-23) that I may walk after the Spirit and not fulfill the lusts of my flesh (Gal. 5:16)

I will continually take comfort in knowing you have not left me alone (John 8:29). I will not lean on my own understanding, but I will trust in you with all my heart (Prov. 3:5,6). May the testing of my faith produces perseverance (James 1:3,4) that brings you glory.

Help me now to write the vision of a godly man’s character that I am believing you for. I will make it plain on paper and keep it continually before me so that I do not compromise and settle for less than your will in my life (Hab. 2:2). Please grant me an understanding heart, that I may discern between a good and a bad relationship (I Kings. 3:9). I willing summit to your preparation for the next season of my life with my aim to be devoted to the Lord in both body and spirit. For few things are needed and I choose that which will not be taken away from me (Luke 10:42)

In the name of Jesus I pray, Amen.

Wisdom / Discernment

For the LORD gives wisdom; from his mouth come knowledge and understanding. Proverbs 2:6 (NIV)

Dear Lord and King,

Thank you  for the gracious gift  of your wisdom  Please give me more wisdom, knowledge and understanding.   You said in your word if any man lacks wisdom to ask for it.   Today, I ask, believing that you give wisdom liberally to those who ask in faith.  I love your wisdom and I am confident that your wisdom will preserve my life.
In all things allow us to defer to the leadership and guidance of your spirit. Before every decision I want you to go before me. As I walk daily let me be sensitive to hearing your voice and not my own desires.  Thank you God, for the life your wisdom imparts to me.  I will seek after it with all my heart and I will daily seek to walk in your wisdom.
In the Name of Jesus I pray, Amen.

Faith

So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
Romans 10:17 (NKJV)

Dear Lord,

Thank you for your Holy Word. It is your word that teaches me that faith comes by hearing your word. Give me a hunger for your word and a burning desire to know and hear your word. Regardless of my test, help me to stand in the faith that you have given to me.  You said if I have the faith the size of a mustard seed then I can move mountains. I trust and believe by faith all things are possible. Lord help me not waiver, but to hold fast to the profession of my faith.  Without faith I know that it is impossible to please you. It is by your grace that I walk by faith and not by sight. I praise you for enabling me to walk by faith. I praise you that I can fight the good fight of faith. I praise you for the shield of faith. Help me to use it to fight the fiery darts of the evil one.
My faith looks up to you. Amen.

Lord God Almighty,

I desire life and I know there is nothing that compares to the peace that you give. Your word said you peace is available for me.  Please give me the grace and strength to seek your peace at all times.  You said you would keep me in perfect peace when my mind is stayed on you.  I surrender my every thought to you.  Help me to walk in your perfect peace and let me bear the fruit of peace in all of my relationships and endeavors. Season my conversations with your peace. I know that you are not the author of confusion.  Help me to be a peacemaker and joyfully receive the blessings that this fruit of the spirit will bring.
