Small Group Bible Studies

Current RegistrationOngoing Classes

Dear Church Family,

I began my journey as a new Christian, when my friend Rufus Smith discipled me as a new believer. I can still remember the little pieces of paper he would write study questions on. We bantered back and forth discussing and debating our newly gained knowledge and love of God and the scriptures. More than my philosophy and religion classes, more than my theology course in seminary, the kitchen table fellowship is what rooted and grounded me as a growing Christian.

It was this kind of study that strengthened and matured me. Also it was that kind of small group study that matured the Brookhollow family. Those days when you would see almost every growing Christian in this church carrying a discipleship study bible. We grew more, reached more, gave more and baptized more people during that period than any other time in the 28 years of this church. And it is what I believe God has called me back to as a pastor and teacher.

Pray about your spiritual growth. Select a small group that you can study, learn, pray and grow with. God by his grace has chosen you to “grow in grace and the knowledge of The Lord Jesus Christ”. 2 Peter 3: 18

Be Encouraged,

DISCIPLESHIP CLASSES

Mosaic Women Discipleship

This 18 week study is the growing disciples series for men and women who want to strengthen their relationship with Christ by Abiding in His Word, Praying in Faith, and Walking in the Word. This study includes three books:

Abide in Christ is a Bible study based on Andrew Murray’s “The True Vine” and delivered in a contemporary, interactive format. This study is designed for new and growing believers in Jesus Christ to learn the secrets of victorious living and to develop a lifestyle that bears lasting spiritual fruit.
Pray In Faith helps believers develop intimate communion with God in prayer. Participants will learn to hear from God in prayer, respond to God through confession, praise, worship and thanksgiving, and join His work through petition and intercession. Special emphasis is given to experiencing the greater insight and authority God grants to united prayers of agreement with others.
Live in the Word participants will learn to read, study, memorize, and meditate on God’s Word in order to know Him and understand His commands, His purposes, and His ways. God has revealed Himself, His purposes, and His ways in the Bible. He has given guidelines for an abundant and meaningful life. Jesus set an example for us by knowing Scripture and applying it in His daily living. By knowing this, participants can then live their life in a way that pleases Him and is abundantly full.
