Lord, Thank You For Giving Us This Day
“Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.” Matthew 6:34
Devotional: This week’s scripture verse is one that is very familiar and speaks to all of us because we all have the tendency to worry which ultimately takes our focus off of the one who is able to keep us! In fact, these are very words spoken by Him on the Sermon on the Mount to remind you and me to take life itself, ONE DAY AT A TIME! We really don’t know what will happen tomorrow but we do know who holds tomorrow in His Hands and He can keep us from falling or faltering, in our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ!
Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank you for being so faithful to us and full of grace and mercy toward us! Now Lord, remind us that tomorrow will take care of itself and help us to concentrate on living in this present age in terms of our focus being on You and our hearts being full of thanksgiving and praise to you! We thank you for loving us that much, in the powerful and perfect name of Jesus Christ, our Rock and Redeemer we pray, Amen!
Reflection Questions: Are we worrying about things that we feel God is not able to handle for us?
This scripture was so on time today. I had a crazy work week last week and could not clear my mind of the things that happened. Today this scripture is a constant reminder that God is in control, and he is working it out for me. So, that I can focus on this today and all the opportunities that it brings.
With so much going on in the world, it is getting harder and harder to not worry about tomorrow! However, I am reminded by the word of God to not worry. I have this scripture on my bathroom mirror to daily remind me that God is in full control!!
Thank you God
This scripture is ALWAYS on time!
Thank you Lord 😊 for all you 🙏 for me. And thank you for Pas
