When will the playground be built?
Construction of the playground will begin in April 2023 and is scheduled to be completed sometime in the Summer of 2023
Are we able to still donate to the playground project?
Yes, donations are still being accepted. To purchase specific equipment, complete the form above, click here to donate towards the overall project, or text to give 713-597-6828
If I made donations before, will I still have the recognition plate promised
All donations have been documented. Specific equipment donations will have the donor's nameplate attached. A special recognition wall display of all donors is a part of plans to commemorate the construction of the playground
Will there be equipment for special needs children?
The poured-in-place rubber surface is one of the best surfaces for ADA accessibility. Wheelchair-accessible ramps will allow children of all abilities to explore various components of the playground including the merry musical instruments, sensory wall, and rocking raft swing.
When will the playground be open?
The playground will be open during non-school hours Monday through Friday until dusk, and on Saturdays and Sundays until dusk.
