He’s Just A Prayer Away

Scripture: “Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you.– Hebrew 10:24-25

Devotional: It is said that communication is the key to any successful relationship.  Whether you are married, in a friendship, or as a co-worker, being able to share with one another builds trust and understanding. Beloved, it is good to know that through Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, by the power of the Holy Spirit, we can find rest and sweet communion as we come to the Father with our prayers and our petitions.  Ultimately, as we pray and call on that name that is above all things, we grow stronger in our love and our trust in God!

Prayer: Heavenly Father, we thank you for the presence of Your Holy Spirit in leading us and guiding us along this life in which we are living because we know if we follow Your will and Your way, You will not let us go astray.  We thank you for your lovingkindness and tender mercies; now Lord, enable our hearts and our minds to reflect on You and thank you for the assurance of hearing and answering our prayer, according to Your divine power, in the name of Jesus Christ we pray Amen!

Reflection Questions:

  1. Do I really trust God in all things?
  2. What can I know that He hears my prayers?
