Church Family,
Please understand, we have not abandoned our Sunday Live services. As I mentioned last week, some members of our Sunday morning staff have been exposed to COVID-19. For the protection of everyone and in following Centers for Disease Control guidelines, we have been sheltering in place for 14 days. We must follow the guidelines established by our healthcare professionals and the CDC. It is imperative that you remain faithful and take these warnings seriously: wear your mask, practice social distancing, wash your hands, and avoid gatherings. I believe our concerted efforts will help to mitigate the virus in due time. I ask for your patience and participation in worship at the highest level this Sunday with your family.
Thank you again and please join me in praying for our church and praying for our instrumentalists, psalmists, preaching team, and our media team, who are faithful in coming every Sunday morning. We hope to return to our live worship services next Sunday. On this First Sunday morning, come to the table of the Lord and worship. Please visit our church website this week to review Sermon Notes and discussion questions for you and your family.
Be Encouraged

I watch on Daystar at 2:30pm each Sunday as often as I can. I like to listen again, take notes and share with family however I can’t find it again. I don’t have DVD or CD just my phone and YouTube. Today’s sermon from Job 42:1-6 Face to Face with God was awesome and I wanted to share with my daughter who was overwhelmed by all of the suffering and death related to COVID-19. This message really would encourage her but I have no way to share it. Where can I find it again?
Good evening Pastor West, I listen with great enthusiasm at your sermon today and was deeply moved as you spoke about the saints above; the invisible presence of the saints above. I thought of my great grandfather and all the martyred Christians of his generation. My great grandfather was born 1853 enslaved in Meridian Mississippi, no idea of his birth date and born without being named; like so many of his generation. He became on of the founders of the National Baptist Convention in 1888 in Birmingham Alabama. He wrote five books, one in which is highly regarded to this present day entitled:The Baptist Standard Church Directory and Busy Pastor’s Guide. By Lewis Garnett Jordan on my 70th birthday I republished his final work entitled “OnTwo Hemispheres Bits From The Life Of LG Jordan as told by Himself” I had the honor of taking your Master Class with Pas Women’s Bible Study and enjoyed the class very much. I am very grateful to have found your church during this trying time in our history. God’s blessings and grace upon you always as well deserved. I know my great grandfather is one of those saints from above encouraging you forward.
