Family Matters Conference Volunteers

The TCWW Family Matters Conference is quickly approaching! We need your gifts, talents and time to help this event be the biggest and best family event ever. Don’t worry, we won’t keep you serving the whole time. There will be shifts so you can join in on the worship, fellowship and fun. Read the team descriptions and sign up for a team below.

 

 

2019 Volunteer Teams

CHILDREN & YOUTH
Caring for, teaching, assisting, and monitoring Little Leapers, KWOW and Ignite children
CULINARY
Create menus, prep, cook, present and serve food
DANCE
Join dance ministry in creating choreography for dance routines, dance with the ministry
DECORATION
Design/build backdrop for gym stage, photo props and decor for photo booths and registration tables
DRAMA
Assist with creation of small skits and perform small skits
ENGAGEMENT
Engage the members/guests to with excitement about conference and registering, day of mingling and engaging
EXHIBITOR FAIR ASSISTANTS
Contact family needs exhibitors, send event day information, take care of any requests/needs they may have
FACILITATOR SUPPORT
Assisting facilitators as needed with handouts, monitoring time, transitions
MARKETING & ADVERTISING
Design any branding material, t-shirt layout, promotional material, push cards, flyers, etc.
MEDIA
Assist with sound, mics, lighting for all days, sitcom displays, commercial recordings, write scripts
PARK ACTIVITIES
Assist with games and activities to be held in the parks for the community outreach event.
REGISTRATION
Pre-event table set-ups pass out yard signs, buttons and assist with foot selfies at tables, event day registration
SETUP/TAKE DOWN
Set-up/take down of any equipment, signage, tables, chairs, props, etc.
SOCIAL MEDIA
Create and monitor social media content, foot selfies, develop content for possible live chats following FMC
SPONSORSHIP
Request donations for giveaways and swag bags for attendees, stuff bags
TRANSPORTATION ASSISTANTS
Operate shuttles, manage traffic flow
VOLUNTEER SUPPORT (within each team)
Contact volunteers send email reminders and updates, event day check-in of volunteers, assisting facilitators as needed with handouts, monitoring time, transitions
