Book Discussion – Caste (Virtual)

February 16 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm

To understand American History is to understand Black History. It is essential. Celebrate Black Heritage Month with us when we discuss our narrative through two pieces of literary works in Caste: The Origins of Our Discontents, a winner of the Pulitzer Prize on Thursday, February 16th, and A New Origin Story: The 1619 Project, a New York Times bestseller on Thursday, February 23rd.
Caste: The Origins of Our Discontents is a nonfiction book by the American journalist Isabel Wilkerson, published in August 2020 by Random House. This book examines the unspoken caste system that has shaped America and shows how our lives today are still defined by a hierarchy of human divisions. Click here to register.
