It’s Time to get Ready to VOTE!!

Pastor West recently reminded us in a sermon, “Grace at Second Base” (1Corinthians 15:10), that God has given us his Amazing Grace. He challenged us to make a difference with the extra innings that God has given to us. He also said, as Christians, we are obligated to make the world a better place and eradicate evil.  He noted anyone can complain, however, God has given us the gift of voting to exercise our voice.  He went on to state “what is right doesn’t belong to a party, but to God’s people; we should see what is evil on every hand and say it has to go.

So, let’s get Ready and Set to exercise our Voice because the time to prepare is NOWSee key voter information below.

Church Family,

Please understand, we have not abandoned our Sunday Live services. As I mentioned last week, some members of our Sunday morning staff have been exposed to COVID-19. For the protection of everyone and in following Centers for Disease Control guidelines, we have been sheltering in place for 14 days. We must follow the guidelines established by our healthcare professionals and the CDC. It is imperative that you remain faithful and take these warnings seriously: wear your mask, practice social distancing, wash your hands, and avoid gatherings. I believe our concerted efforts will help to mitigate the virus in due time. I ask for your patience and participation in worship at the highest level this Sunday with your family.

Thank you again and please join me in praying for our church and praying for our instrumentalists, psalmists, preaching team, and our media team, who are faithful in coming every Sunday morning. We hope to return to our live worship services next Sunday. On this First Sunday morning, come to the table of the Lord and worship. Please visit our church website this week to review Sermon Notes and discussion questions for you and your family.

A Message from Mayor Sylvester Turner

A Message from Mayor Sylvester Turner

As you know, we are still in the recovering stages of the Covid 19 pandemic.  We have made some progress but we still have more to go.

The virus can spread very quickly and the symptoms can range from no symptoms to mild to severe illness. Currently there is no vaccine available and we can’t relax on our social distancing and wearing facial coverings until that happens!

I’m asking you to remain vigilant and continue to MASK UP, not just for your benefit but for your loved ones & others around you.  So, take care of yourself and always practice social distancing!

Remember we are Houston Strong, together we will get through this! And Don’t forget to MASK UP!
