Small Groups Bible Study New Session Begins Feb 5

Small Groups Bible Study New Session Begins Feb 5

Grow in Your Personal Christian Walk

We were created to experience life in community with other believers. One of the best ways to get connected and grow spiritually is to join a small group bible study. Our church is more than Sunday mornings; you can deepen your faith throughout the week, share life with a group of people who will encourage you in your times of need, celebrate you in the joys of life, and challenge you as you grow in your personal Christian walk.

Whether you are seasoned on your spiritual journey or are a new follower of Jesus Christ, we have a place for you in a small group. Our new session begins February 6-9. Virtual groups are available Monday – Thursday at 7 pm

Don’t overthink it. Sign up today!

Weekly Devotional

January 29 – February 4

Lord, Thank You For Giving Us This Day

“Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.”  Matthew 6:34

Devotional: This week’s scripture verse is one that is very familiar and speaks to all of us because we all have the tendency to worry which ultimately takes our focus off of the one who is able to keep us!  In fact, these are very words spoken by Him on the Sermon on the Mount to remind you and me to take life itself, ONE DAY AT A TIME!  We really don’t know what will happen tomorrow but we do know who holds tomorrow in His Hands and He can keep us from falling or faltering, in our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ!

Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank you for being so faithful to us and full of grace and mercy toward us!  Now Lord, remind us that tomorrow will take care of itself and help us to concentrate on living in this present age in terms of our focus being on You and our hearts being full of thanksgiving and praise to you!  We thank you for loving us that much, in the powerful and perfect name of Jesus Christ, our Rock and Redeemer we pray, Amen!

Reflection Questions:  Are we worrying about things that we feel God is not able to handle for us?

Walk in the Light

As we begin this third work week of the new year, (wow, time is moving) I was reminded this week of a passage of scripture in the Gospel of John, chapter 1, verse 5 which says these words:  “This is the message we have heard from him and declare to you: God is light; in him there is no darkness at all.”  Friends, during these seemingly dark days, with all that is happening in the world, our country, our neighborhoods, and personally what we are going through today, always remember this:  Jesus IS STILL the Light of the World and we walk in the Light of our Lord in trusting Him during these difficult times!

Prayer: Heavenly Father, we thank you that You sent your one and only Son, Jesus Christ, into this world to be the beacon of light for humanity.  Now Lord, help us to walk in the light of your love and be a reflection of your love to everyone that we may encounter; especially those who are living in darkness and we will forever give you glory and praise, in the name of Jesus, we pray, Amen!   Hope you have a wonderful week and God bless you!

Refelction Questions:  Lord, how can I access your light in my dark situation?

Our God Is With Us!

Scripture: “The LORD will vindicate me; your love, LORD, endures forever- do not abandon the works of your hands.”  Psalm 138:8

Devotional: In other words, because of God’s great love for us, He knows, He sees, and He is working on our behalf as we continue to encourage and pray for one another during this season in which we are living right now.

Prayer: Eternal God, Our Father, thank you for loving and give us what we need when we need it; now Lord, enable us to trust You in everything that we do and have been assigned to do, in the name of Jesus we pray, Amen and Amen!

Refelction Questions: Do you feel God’s presence in your life?  If you don’t , what do you sense you need to do to experience Him on this day?

Weekly Devotional

Moving Toward Thee In 2023

Scripture: “Be on your guard; stand firm in the faith; be courageous; be strong.” – I Corinthians 16:13

Devotional: Hope you are doing well and Happy New Year to you!  Wow, what a year we experienced in 2022 and as we are reminded in Philippians 3: 12-14 to press forward and upward in our walk and witness in Christ. Friends, you and I can accomplish this by staying prayerful and grounded in the Word of God as we trust Him to lead, guide, and direct our lives.

Prayer: Father, thank you for yet another chance to testify to those around us and those that we may encounter, your goodness and your graciousness; we love you and help us to remain faithful and trustworthy in all that we do, in the name of Jesus we pray, Amen and Amen!!!

Question: What are you going to do differently in 2023 to grow upwardly in your relationship with Jesus Christ?

TCWW Job Board – Search for a Job or Submit a Job Today

TCWW Job Board – Search for a Job or Submit a Job Today

We are excited to announce that The Church Without Walls and BEEM (Business Economic Empowerment Ministry) have launched a Job Board;  yes that is correct, a Job Board for our members! But not just any jobs will be posted. There is a hidden job market that our community is not aware of. The hidden jobs are on company websites, known by recruiters, on LinkedIn, through word of mouth, and so forth.

By the time most jobs are posted on well-known job boards, other communities are already aware and have applied for them; thus, we wanted to change this dynamic and the TCWW Job Board was developed. The Job Board is a repository of jobs populated by you, our members, who become aware of jobs through your company websites, recruiters, word of mouth, etc.

This is your opportunity to help others by putting “love your neighbor as yourself into practice” by sharing and submitting jobs on the board as you become aware of them.

Our prayer is that the Job Board will be a blessing to our members and community. To search for a job or post a job, visit jobboard.tcww.org.

The Promised One Advent Daily Devotional – Download Today

For to us a child is born…” Isaiah 9:6

During Advent, we prepare our hearts to celebrate the arrival of this child—the infant Jesus, laid in a manger, loved by Mary and Joseph, worshiped by shepherds and wise men. But Advent—which means “arrival”—invites us to prepare for much more than the holy night of his birth.

In this CT devotional resource, we explore what Scripture tells us about the Promised One, deepening our faith in the Savior we know and love. The daily reflections delve into key passages that help us understand more about who Jesus is. And each weekly theme centers around a core aspect of Jesus’ identity drawn from Isaiah’s prophecies.
