Baptism

A visual demonstration of your faith & obedience.

REGISTER FOR BAPTISM CLASSES

Go then, to all people everywhere and make them My disciples. Baptize them in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, and then teach them to obey everything I have commanded you.” – Matthew 28:19-20

What is Baptism?

We believe baptism is an ocular demonstration of God’s inward renewal in the life of the believer. In baptism, our names are changed. In the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit we are placed under the authority of God’s power and protection. It is the symbol of Christ’s death, burial and resurrection to a new life.

Discover More About Baptism

Who should be baptized?

Anyone seven years or older who has confessed Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior (Matthew 28-19-20)

Why should I be baptized?

Out of obedience to God's command, I declare a new life in Jesus Christ through baptism. (Acts 2:36-38, 41)

When should I be baptized?

A believer should be baptized immediately (at the first opportunity) after confessing Christ as their Lord and Savior and upon completion of the three required ordinance classes (Acts 8-26-40)

What can I expect during the Baptism Ceremony?

As demonstrated by Jesus Christ, the believer is first baptized (immersed in water); then the believer receives the Lord's Supper for the first time and Right Hand of Fellowship. (Mark 1:10; Acts 2:42)
